Ramadan storytime for kids ages 2-7 on every Saturday at 11am at LGIC.

Quran in Action: Two hands-on youth sessions for children ages 8–12, led by Sr. Marya Syed, combining Qur’anic reflection with curiosity and discovery.

Community Service Projects for juniors (ages 8-12) and for youth (ages 13-17).

Quran Circle for girls ages 10-14 with Ust. Lamia Ammar at LGIC on Saturdays at Dhuhr prayer.

Taraweeh Tracker to keep track of your Taraweeh prayers, with this calendar. Kids can bring their calendar to a masjid volunteer to stamp, and receive a reward at the end of the week.

Our daily iftars at the mosque are open to anyone who may be spending Ramadan on their own or away from family and would appreciate sharing a meal and some company.

Community iftars

• Qiyams will be taking place at Saratoga Musalla ONLY for the last 10 days and NOT at LGIC.
• There will be no itikaf this year at LGIC.

• Your Zakat ul-Fitr contributions are crucial for ensuring all community members can celebrate Eid joyously.

• Please contribute at your earliest convenience before Eid to allow for timely distribution.

Giving towards iftar not only means another person can share in Ramadan’s blessings but it also doubles the reward of your own fast.

• Please observe all parking regulations, showing consideration for our neighbors.
• Extra parking is available at the synagogue next to Prospect Center (19700 Prospect Rd.).
• Street parking is highly discouraged.

• Bring a reusable water bottle to minimize negative environmental impact.
• We have coolers and water filling stations on site.
• Let’s commit to leaving spaces cleaner than we found them and to being mindful of our resource usage.

• To support parents during Taraweeh prayers, WVMA is offering daily babysitting for children aged 2-6 at LGIC.
• Babystting drop-off will begin after Isha, first-serve basis.
• Please ensure your child has eaten and used the restroom before drop-off, as no food will be provided.
• Parents are required to remain on-site and respond promptly to any notifications regarding their child.
