Elder Companion Program

Our elders carry the wisdom, stories, and experiences that have shaped our community. Through regular check-ins and companionship, we hope to ensure that no one in our community feels forgotten or alone.

A Simple Act of Care

The Elder Companion Program pairs volunteers with elders for regular check-ins and conversation. Whether through a phone call, video chat, or occasional visit, these connections help strengthen community bonds and reduce isolation.

Volunteers and participants are thoughtfully matched based on language, preferences, and availability.

3. Stay Connected

Why It Matters

Many elders in our community live far from family, have limited opportunities for social interaction, or simply appreciate having someone check in on them regularly.

A simple conversation can provide comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging.

Looking for a Companion?

This program is open to seniors who would benefit from regular connection and conversation. Family members are also welcome to register a parent, grandparent, or loved one.
