West Valley Muslim Association
WVMA is a faith-based organization, home to a community where everyone feels supported, encouraged, and loved. Our community is not just an event, but a place to belong. Join us as we strive together to worship God, follow the teachings of the Quran, and the way of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him).
Locations
Nestled among the lush hills of Los Gatos, Los Gatos Islamic Center (LGIC) is the place we call home. Alongside the daily prayers and Friday Services (jumma prayers) LGIC hosts a variety of programs and our doors are always open. Come by and enjoy the community garden and explore the grounds filled with greenery. Our indoor facilities include a prayer hall, auditorium, and a space for recreational activities such as table tennis and pool. Visit LGIC at 16769 Farley Rd., Los Gatos, CA 95032
Our other two locations are:
- Saratoga Prospect Center located at 19848 Prospect Road, Saratoga CA 95070 where we hold Friday prayers.
- Saratoga Musalla, located at 12370 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road, Saratoga CA 95070 where we hold the five daily prayers (excluding Friday services) and various programs including study circles for youth, women, and the community.

Foundations
The WVMA is a faith-based organization that is based on a comprehensive understanding of Islam based on the Quran and the Sunnah (the book of God and the teachings and manners of the Prophet peace be upon him). We aim to establish a thriving Muslim community, guided by faith and inspired to be an integral part of society at large.
WVMA is non-profit tax-exempt organization (Tax-ID: 26-1328437) that has been formed exclusively for educational, religious, and social purposes. It is registered with the Internal Revenue Service under revenue code 501(c)(3).
All of its activities are in accordance with the teachings of the Qur’an and following the teachings and traditions of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
Our doors are open to all community members, however, if you wish to become an (official member of WVMA -hyperlink-) please note that WVMA membership is open to all Muslims 18 years of age or above who:
- Subscribe to the objectives of the WVMA Constitution
- Agree to work under the general guidance of WVMA leadership and the constitutional framework of WVMA.
Operations
The WVMA boards are consist of a board of directors (BOD) and board of trustees (BOT). The Executive Director of the organization manages and maintains the operations under the direct leadership of the BOD.
