Life in the Struggle with Imam Amir Abdel Malik

Join us on Saturday evening for a lecture by Amir Abdulmalik Ali to learn about Imam Jamil Al-Amin from the Black Panther Party. Imam Jamil, formerly known as H Rap Brown, was a chairman of SNCC, the minister of justice for the Black Panther Party, and was appointed Amir of 40 mosques. He currently is wrongfully imprisoned, and the struggle to #freeimamjamil is ongoing. This session will serve as a launch session for our bookclub on “Revolution by the Book” authored by Imam Jamil Al-Amin.
